Yes. Online bookings are for stays of up to 90 nights, so a monthly rental in Downtown is booked like any other stay: choose your dates and the booking page shows the full price before you pay. Some dates need a minimum number of nights; the booking page tells you. For a stay longer than 90 nights, write to us.
How much is a furnished apartment in Downtown per night?
Our homes in Downtown start from $110 a night today; each home's price depends on its size and your dates. The booking page shows the full price before you pay: the nights, cleaning, the service fee and the payment fee. Prices are set in US dollars, and you pay in Egyptian pounds at the exchange rate shown at checkout.

Is Downtown Cairo a good place to stay for sightseeing?
Yes: Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum are in the neighbourhood, Khan el-Khalili and Islamic Cairo are a short ride east, and the metro runs from the centre across the city. Expect a lively, busy area by day and late into the night.
Is there a security deposit for a stay in Downtown?
No. There is currently no security deposit: none is asked when you book or when you arrive, in any of our spaces, El Gouna included. If that changes, or a particular stay needs one, we tell you the amount, and how and when it is returned, in writing before you book. Damage caused during a stay is still charged as the terms of stay say.
What is the cancellation policy?
Each stay has the cancellation policy shown at checkout, which you accept before paying; it is repeated in your booking confirmation. It says how much is refunded if you cancel a given number of days before check-in; the days count to check-in time on your arrival day (15:00, Cairo time). Our standard policy: a full refund if you cancel at least 5 days before check-in, and 50% if you cancel later, up to check-in time. A refund goes back to the card or wallet you paid with. Bookings made through Airbnb, Booking.com or Expedia follow that platform’s cancellation policy.
