How is Garden City different from Downtown?
Garden City is right next to Downtown, but it is a residential quarter of villas, gardens and embassies, so its streets are much quieter. Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum are still within walking distance.
Is there a security deposit for a stay in Garden City?
No. There is currently no security deposit: none is asked when you book or when you arrive, in any of our spaces, El Gouna included. If that changes, or a particular stay needs one, we tell you the amount, and how and when it is returned, in writing before you book. Damage caused during a stay is still charged as the terms of stay say.
What is the cancellation policy?
Each stay has the cancellation policy shown at checkout, which you accept before paying; it is repeated in your booking confirmation. It says how much is refunded if you cancel a given number of days before check-in; the days count to check-in time on your arrival day (15:00, Cairo time). Our standard policy: a full refund if you cancel at least 5 days before check-in, and 50% if you cancel later, up to check-in time. A refund goes back to the card or wallet you paid with. Bookings made through Airbnb, Booking.com or Expedia follow that platform’s cancellation policy.
